CalOptix was founded as California Optical in 1935 as a manufacturer of premium eyewear cases. Though we possess a rich long history, our most memorable product venture came during World War II, when we were commissioned to design and produce leather cases for Rayban aviator eyewear worn by our armed forces abroad. Fast forward, and 84 years later, we are one of the top eyewear accessory companies in the US market, and we have expanded our product selection to include optical & sunglass cases, optical & sunglass cleaners and over the counter readers & sunglass readers eyewear.
